Ignite Marketing Is Now a Google Partner: What We Had to Prove, and What It Means for You

By Ignite Marketing Team5 min read

In October 2026, Google awarded Ignite Marketing Solutions LLC the Google Partner badge. You'll now see it next to our logo at the top of every page on this site, and you can click it at any time to open our profile on Google's own website.

We want to explain what that badge is, what we had to do to earn it, and what it means for you if you're deciding whether to trust us with your marketing budget. We've written this in plain English, because most of our clients are business owners, not marketers.

Why we went after it

Almost every business owner we talk to has a story about an agency that let them down. They paid every month, got a report full of charts they didn't understand, and never saw the phone ring more than it did before. By the time they find us, they're cautious, and they should be.

The problem is that from the outside, every agency looks the same. Everyone says they're "experts." Everyone has a nice website. "Trust us" isn't a good enough answer, and we didn't want to ask you to rely on it.

So we set out to earn a credential that we don't control, that Google checks on its own, and that you can verify yourself in ten seconds. That's what the Google Partner badge is.

What Google checked before awarding it

Google doesn't hand the badge out for filling in a form. It awards it based on live data from our Google Ads manager account, where every client campaign we run is managed, and it had to see three things at the same time.

Our clients' campaigns are well run. Google gives every ad account an optimization score, its own measure of how well campaigns are set up to perform. To qualify, an agency's accounts need to average at least 70%. When Google reviewed ours, our score was 100%. That's Google's assessment of the work we do for our clients every day, not ours.

We manage real advertising budgets. Google requires at least $10,000 in client ad spend over the previous 90 days. This rules out agencies that talk about Google Ads but don't actually run campaigns at any scale. We cleared it with real campaigns for real clients.

Our people have passed Google's exams. Google requires the account strategists who manage campaigns to hold current Google Ads certifications, earned through Google's own Skillshop assessments. The people running your campaigns at Ignite are certified by Google in the platform they're managing.

Here's the part we think matters most: Google re-checks all three every month. This isn't a plaque we earned once and hung on the wall. If our clients' campaigns stopped performing, or our team let certifications lapse, Google would take the badge away. Keeping it means keeping our standards up, month after month, for every client.

What this means for you

If you work with us on Google Ads, the badge gives you three concrete things.

An outside referee. Google, not Ignite, is vouching for the quality of our account management. You're not relying on our word alone.

Proof you can check yourself. Click the badge in our header, or go to our Google Partners profile. It shows our company name and our Partner status on google.com. Any agency that claims to be a Google Partner should be able to show you the same thing. If they can't, ask why.

A team that has done the work. The certification requirement means the person managing your campaigns has studied the platform and passed Google's tests on it. Combined with the performance requirement, it means they've also delivered results in live accounts.

Our commitments to every client

The badge is Google's promise about our work. These are ours, in writing, to every client we take on:

  • You own your accounts. Your Google Ads account, your Google Business Profile and your website stay in your name. We're linked to them; we never hold them hostage. If you ever leave, everything goes with you.
  • You get reports in plain language. Calls, form submissions, booked jobs and what they cost you. Not impressions and jargon.
  • You can see our work. Every page we build, every campaign change we make, every post we publish is visible and documented. If nothing changed this month, you'd know.
  • You can verify us. Our Google Partner badge, our Meta Verified Instagram, and our Google reviews are all public. We put them on our homepage precisely so you can check them without asking us.

How to verify any agency's Google Partner claim

If you're comparing us with other agencies, please do this check on all of them, including us:

  1. Look for the official badge, not just the words. The real badge is a small square that reads "Google Partner" with the current year's design. Phrases like "Google certified agency" or "Google approved" are not official designations.
  2. Click it. It should open a page on google.com showing the agency's name and Partner status. Make sure the name matches the company you're talking to.
  3. Ask who will run your account and whether that person is Google certified.
  4. Ask who owns the ad account. The answer should be "you."

Common questions

Does working with a Google Partner make my clicks cheaper? No, and we won't tell you otherwise. Ad costs are set by Google's auction. What a Partner can do is make sure your budget goes to the right searches, the right people and the right landing pages, so each click has a better chance of becoming a customer.

Is a Premier Partner better than a Partner? Premier Partners are the top 3% of agencies in each country, mostly by ad spend, which usually means they focus on large enterprise accounts. For a small or mid-sized service business, a Partner that specialises in businesses your size is often the better fit. That's who we work with.

Can you lose the badge? Yes. Google re-checks the requirements every month. We'd rather be held to that standard than not.

If you've been burned by an agency before, we understand the hesitation. Request a free audit and we'll show you exactly what we'd change in your current marketing and why, before you spend a dollar. You'll know within one conversation whether we're the right fit.
